I turned on the TV
Saw some images that sadden me
People crying
People shouting
Buildings crushed
Injured humans sent to the hospitals in a rush
An earthquake struck Sichuan
The victims just couldn’t run
Struggling for dear life
We should be grateful for our life
Children walking to school
Their blood could fill up a pool
Innocent life were took
Mother earth you’re the crook
Let’s hope the victims of this can see the light again
Cause I can feel their sadness and pain
Looking at homeless people
I hope this is not real
Properties were lost
But that’s not what I think It would most cost
It’s the life of the loved ones
Some lost their sons
They all perished like air
All we need to do... Is give them our care
So I am here. Writing this song
Something short not long
So I pray...Everyday.
